The Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) and College of Paramedics (CoP) are encouraging paramedics to put forward nominations for the Advancing Healthcare Awards 2014.
The awards, open exclusively to allied health professionals, healthcare scientists and those who work with them in support roles, is organised by Chamberlain Dunn.
Now in its eighth year, the awards recognise and reward projects and professionals that lead innovative healthcare practice and make a real difference to patients’ lives in healthcare science and the allied health professions.
As allied health professionals, paramedics play a significant role in providing high-quality healthcare in what is often a challenging, and certainly a changing, environment.
There are many excellent initiatives by paramedics and teams of paramedics, technicians, emergency care support workers and control staff, which may not have opportunities to be justly recognised at national level.
Deadlines for entries is 17.00 Friday 17 January 2014, with the awards ceremony taking place on Friday 11 April 2014.
